John Tierney, Esq.

John Tierney began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York wherein he was promoted to Trial Assignment Part I (TAP) leader and then to the position of Designated Felony Liaison for Juvenile Offenders. In this role, he successfully prosecuted and tried dozens of gang-related assaults and robberies, felony gun possession cases, conducted felony interrogations, and successfully prosecuted a multiple defendant rape trial. He finished his tenure in the Narcotics Trial Bureau.

In private practice, as a result of the strong investigative and trial experience obtained early in his career, John has specialized in Civil Litigation Defense and built the Tierney Law Group from the ground up, since 2002. The firm focuses on Civil Defense matters on behalf of Fortune 500 Companies and Major Insurance companies. Uniquely successful in dozens of trials in both New York and New Jersey, and in several areas of law, John prides himself on strategic, tactical, and effective trial advocacy through preparation and passion. He endeavors continually to demonstrate “Excellence in the Great Issues, through Excellence in the details.” Specifically, the firm has been uniquely successful in the defense of General Liability and Premises Liability matters, Products liability actions, Construction accidents, strip malls, commercial owners, and property managers, non-profit charitable, religious and educational institutions, Title 59 actions against municipalities, and has obtained outstanding results in a vast array of civil litigation, coverage, and criminal defense matters.

John Tierney was Lead Counsel in the development of a seminal area of New Jersey Law on the issue of damages, as reported in Philip Kozma v. Starbucks Coffee Company, 412 N.J. Super. 319 (App. Div. 2010) as well as Lead Counsel in the “Coffee Wars” in New Jersey on behalf of a Fortune 500 Coffee Retailer. Nation-wide, he has presented to Insurance Carriers and Fortune 500 Companies concerning Investigative techniques in defense of Liability as well as Defense of High Exposure, Complex damages cases.

Lori Anne Fee, Esq.

Lori Anne is a Graduate of The State University of New York at Albany with a BA in Political Science and Juris Doctor from Syracuse University School of Law. Clerked for Commissioner Michael S. Gelacak of the United States Sentencing Commission and served as staff attorney for the United States Sentencing Commission, in Washington D.C. Lori began her career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting cases and conducting trials in Felony Trials, Criminal Court, the Appeals Bureau, and the Homicide Investigation Bureau. For the remainder of her distinguished career, Lori worked in several mid-size law firms in New Jersey primarily specializing in products liability, premises liability, toxic tort and workers compensation. She is admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Lori has been elected member of the Frelinghuysen Township Board of Education and has served as Vice President for the last three years.
